  1. To install the daemons, copy one or more of the daemons to the AmiTCP:serv
  2. directory.

  4. Add the following lines to amitcp:db/inetd.conf:

  6. pop    stream    tcp nowait  root    amitcp:serv/ipop2d    ipop2d
  7. pop3    stream    tcp nowait  root    amitcp:serv/ipop3d    ipop3d
  8. imap    stream    tcp nowait  root    amitcp:serv/imapd    imapd

  10. Add the following lines to AmiTCP:db/services:

  12. pop    109/tcp     postoffice
  13. pop3    110/tcp
  14. imap    143/tcp
  15.  
  16. By default, all the daemons look for mail from AmiTCP:Mail. This can be
  17. overridden using the SMTPMailDir environment variable.
